Magical Square

„The painting compositions of Marija Koruga are built on a fine and complex feeling of balance. That balance is realised and moves between order and coincidence, between attention to detail and concentrating on a rich structure, between warm and cold poles of a wide spectrum of colours that the author reaches, between the relationship of the line and the surface. The constant dynamic between (at the first sight) opposite principles manifests itself as the two pillars around which the author has built the contemporary series presented in this exhibition.“
